Whether you need to increase your knowledge, gain professional education credits or just want to expand your practice, there are a number of courses that may be of interest to you*:

 


London Spondyloarthritis Academy training days - (Application has been made for 5 CPD credits from the Royal College of Physicians)

The curriculum will include epidemiology, disease presentation and classification, clinical examination, investigation, non-pharmacological and pharmacological management, and service delivery. This will be delivered via key note presentations, workshops and clinical skills demonstrations. The purpose of the Academy is to raise clinical standards and promote multidisciplinary care, generate research interest in spondyloarthritis (SpA) throughout London, with an ultimate aim of improving standards of care.

The Academy is modelled on the highly successful East of England Academy formed in 2017.

  • The AquaStretch™ UK certification is a two day training. Read more
    The course will consist of an introduction to AquaStretch™ as a technique and a method for unwinding fascial adhesions, we will learn about fascia and its significance in the human body. You will get the opportunity to learn the hand placement skills needed for the grips and holds used in AquaStretch™ on land, followed by the first pool session which will re-affirm these skills and assist in learning how to recognize adhesions in the aquatic environment. Psoriasis in Practice (10 accredited study hours from the Royal College of Nursing)

  • PiP (Psoriasis in Practice) is an on-line training programme to help health care professionals (including primary care nurses, dermatology nurses, pharmacists and podiatrists in any health care setting who may care for people with psoriasis and PsA) understand the needs of people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and to manage their patients quickly and effectively. Link to website

The PIP course is accessible online 24/7 you can enrol at anytime and take the course when it suits you. The current course is available until April 2019.
