PAPAA supports research that can make a meaningful difference to people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. As a charity, we aim to support research into all aspects of psoriatic disease whenever possible, although the amounts we are able to commit are necessarily relatively small.
The current call for PAPAA small research-grant applications is now closed.
Please check this page for details of future funding opportunities. If you have a query about a potential application or an area of research that may be suitable for PAPAA support, please contact us.
PAPAA considers applications for small, relatively low-cost grants, typically under £10,000. Trustees may also consider larger applications, particularly where PAPAA funding would provide seed funding for a higher-value project.
PAPAA is registered with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) as a partner organisation. Where PAPAA-supported research is eligible, this may allow the study to be added to the UK Clinical Research Network portfolio.
The trustees of the charity will consider other areas of research, provided there is likely to be a tangible benefit for patients affected by psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis.
