At the beginning of July, Yorkshire Dales Centre of The Caravan Club (www.ydcc.co.uk) held a rally in Ripon, with all the proceeds from the event in aid of PAPAA.
The chairman of YDCC, Howard Jennings said:
“...my daughter Suzie who is 33 years old was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis early last year and because of this, I pledged to her that I would raise funds for PAPAA.”
“...we had forty caravans attending. Throughout Saturday we had fun and games, live music, food, tombola, auction and a raffle to raise funds...”
Total raised for PAPAA was £1,435, which is the largest amount ever raised by a chairman in the forty year history of the centre.
PAPAA would like to thank Howard, his wife Margaret, their daughter Suzie and all the members of the club who attended the rally, for their generous support.
